How our fleet will stand out:
Tiltrotators and Quick Couplers
Our tree care and earthmoving company is investing in quick couplers tiltrotators for our excavators to enhance productivity and efficiency. These advanced attachments allow our excavators to rotate their implements 360 degrees and tilt up to 45 degrees, enabling precise work without constant repositioning. Tiltrotators follow movement similar to those of a human wrist, allowing our operators to unlock a higher level of precision and capability with our machines. This means faster project completion, reduced fuel consumption, and less wear on our machines .
By minimizing manual labor and improving safety, tiltrotators will help us deliver more efficient and cost-effective services to our clients. We will be able to angle our tree care attachment such as grapple saws s to safely cut down trees using only excavators or rotate and tilt digging buckets for precision grading. Tiltrotators have an innumerable amount of advantages and we hope to use them to deliver the best and fastest service to our clients.
Spider Excavators
Our investment in 3 Menzi Muck spider excavators will allow us to access impossible terrain and take our forestry, tree care, and earthmoving services to the next level. Steep slopes, creek beds and sensitive terrain is no match for Menzi Muck excavators. They offer extremely low ground pressure and low disturbance to the environment. We will be able to go into the toughest locations to deliver the highest quality services of any contractor. Mated with tiltrotators, quick couplers and various attachments to perform tree care and excavation tasks, previously impossible terrain is no match for us.
Tree handlers
Our future arsenal of tree handlers including models from leading manufacturers like Sennebogen and Magni allow us to quickly and safely remove hazardous trees in very short amounts of time. The mechanized process, high reach and unparalleled efficiency allows us to complete large scale forestry and tree care projects near utilities or in urban areas as well as forests and parks. We plan to invest in the West Coast’s largest mechanized tree care and forestry fleet to be able to provide our customers with the safest and most efficient service. Additionally, we will be able to protect our workers and reduce unnecessary operating costs. Mechanized tree removal streamlines the process and takes dynamic movement and flying branches out of the equation, greatly reducing risk and eliminating damage to surrounding trees and vegetation.
Tracked Chippers
Our company is investing in high-performance tracked wood chippers from Bandit and Ufkes Greentec to enhance our capabilities in forestry and utility clearing operations. These machines are built for tough terrain and demanding workloads, allowing us to process large volumes of wood and vegetation more quickly and safely. By reducing manual labor and downtime, these chippers significantly lower operational costs while boosting productivity. For our customers, this means faster project completion, lower service costs, and the confidence that work is being done with the highest safety and efficiency standards in the industry.
Advanced Crane Fleet
We plan to further invest in our fleet with advanced mobile cranes from leading manufacturers National Crane and Grove to strengthen our tree service and crane service operations. These reliable, high-capacity machines offer exceptional reach, maneuverability, and lifting power, making them ideal for precise tree removals and a wide range of lifting tasks. Their mobility and versatility will allow us to complete jobs faster and with a higher degree of safety than our competitors, even in challenging or confined areas. This investment helps reduce project timelines and labor costs while improving overall jobsite safety and efficiency—delivering greater value and peace of mind to our customers.
Mulching Tractors
We are investing in powerful forestry mulching tractors from Prinoth and Primetech to expand our land clearing and vegetation management capabilities. These machines are engineered for high performance in tough terrain, efficiently mulching trees, brush, and undergrowth in a single pass. Their advanced technology and durability reduce the need for multiple machines and minimize ground disturbance. By streamlining the clearing process, we can complete projects faster, lower operating costs, and enhance safety for our crews. This investment allows us to offer our customers faster turnaround times, more cost-effective solutions, and environmentally responsible land management services.
Air Burners
At New-Era, sustainability is one of our core values. We will invest significant amounts of money into air curtain burners for our wood yard as well as portable units to process wood waste into biochar. We will use air curtain burners to sustainably process wood waste on-site. This technology will burn tree debris cleanly by using a high-velocity air curtain to reduce smoke and emissions.
Rather than hauling material to landfills, we’ll convert wood waste into energy. The heat from combustion will be captured and used to generate electricity, powering parts of our operations or supplying the grid.
This approach will lower our carbon footprint, reduce wildfire risks, and promote a circular use of natural resources—helping us lead the way in sustainable tree care. By using the BioCharger system from Airburners, we will be able to cleanly burn our wood waste and use the resulting heat to generate electricity to charge the electric equipment in our fleet. Everything in our company comes full circle and everything gets repurposed and recycled wether it is into a new product or clean energy.
